LifeGroups Circle Up
‘Okay, I want to try this LifeGroup thing. What now?’
Facilitate a Group: If you’re starting a new LifeGroup or are interested in what it might entail to lead/co-lead one, this is a handy guide for you. If you’re already up and running, you can skip this.
LifeGroup Covenant: Our LifeGroup Ministry provides the wonderful opportunity to DO LIFE TOGETHER, effectively developing relationships with God and one another, which is essential within the Body of Christ. We love God by loving others; by loving others we love God! This Covenant helps to establish how YOUR group will do life together. We want to allow groups to decide their length of commitment and some other aspects of the meetings. Then, your LifeGroup will commit to pray for each other, respect each other and be authentic.
Download the Discussion Guide: Each month there will be a new Life Group Study Guide posted on our website. All groups will study the same theme so we will be having a common conversation as a church about topics including: Hospitality, Generosity, Gratitude, Incarnation and much more. The topics follow our monthly sermon theme, so you will have a full experience of the topic. The Guides from the previous months will also be there.
What Are LifeGroups?
There’s Something That Happens in Circles That Doesn’t Happen in Rows.
You weren’t created to do life alone, and at JKPC we are about ‘Building Authentic Community.’
One way this is happening at JKPC is by encouraging as many people as possible to join a Life Group this fall. Being part of a Life Group means having people you can talk to, depend on, and explore God’s Word in community.
What is a ‘Life Group?’
A life group is 10-15 people who get together monthly to explore faith and share life together.
When are Life Groups forming?
We will be running the second year of Life Groups from September 2018 through June 2019. We will have a “Go Day” on September 30, after the 11 am service in Trinity Hall. We will eat lunch together and meet with our groups briefly for the first time on that day. Afterward, your group will meet once a month to share life, study the Bible around a theme, and pray for each other.
How do I get involved?
Go to https://tinyurl.com/lifegroups2018 to sign up and let us know a little bit more about how to contact you and what type of group would fit you best.
Who can participate?
Anyone! Members, friends, anyone can participate. You could even invite a friend! All are welcome.
What will we study?
Each month there will be a new Life Group Study Guide posted on our website. All groups will study the same theme, so we will be having a common conversation as a church about topics including: Hospitality, Generosity, Gratitude, Incarnation, and much more.

If you’re wondering what your next step is after coming on a Sunday morning, you’ve found it. We really believe that taking the step to join a group will be a decision you won’t regret.
