Youth Mission at John Knox

Mission Trip

Our youth are so passionate about mission, we knew that we needed to find opportunities for mission even though we couldn’t go on the original trip we had planned. For three days, the youth met at the church and worked on various local projects including helping with yardwork for those who are unable, creating personal care packages for men at the Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry, making gifts for shut-ins, and helping with JKPC VBS. After three hot days of local mission, they travelled to Kelley’s Island for camping and lots of outdoor fun! Kayaking, sitting by the fire, painting rocks, and exploring God’s word were some favorite memories. We are so proud of our youth for having faith and trust in a really tough time!
