Turning Vision Into Action
In the last few years, we have grown in our faith, creativity, and ability to adapt. We have seen God at work in us and through us. Now, even more than before, we are accepting God’s invitation to play a larger part in God’s big story. We are ready for more connection, more neighborhood engagement, and more inspiring worship (in-person and on-line). We continue to grow in gratitude for the faithful work of God in and through us. Our Vision embodies this ideal.
We are excited to grow our budget so that we can join in God's mission of reaching out to our community and world. As we live into our Vision, growing our budget will allow us to be responsive in inviting others to engage with the church in this season - online, in person, outside and more.
We believe God is calling us to
Extend radical hospitality,
Build authentic community, and
Join in God’s transforming work in the world.
Will You Play Your Part?
Like an orchestra, each instrument is essential. When one stops playing, the sound diminishes. But when all are rehearsed and invested, the sound is magical, moving, and inspiring. This is what we are called to as the Body of Christ. Moreover, in a symphony, not every instrument is the same, nor does it play the same part or same rhythm. As a church, all are welcome to come play a part in this orchestra, this song, this story. The person you are right now, where you are, has been created to play an important part in God’s story. Will you answer that call?
November 6 is Dedication Sunday.
On this day, we will dedicate our pledges for 2023. What we pledge is inspired by an intimate awareness of and gratitude for God’s invitation to each one of us. We are inviting you to invest in God’s good work here through the resources that God has given you – your energy, prayers, and pledge. As you give in gratitude for all God is doing in our midst, may you feel the exhilaration of knowing that you are playing a part in God’s big story. We are so grateful for you.
